The latest version of Setra EDGE Software is now available! This new software release is packed with new features, bug fixes, and updates to improve performance.
Software Updates
We've made several enhancements to the Setra Edge Software. Error Status checkboxes for Modbus and BACnet SPC device types are now enabled by default, and the drop-down menu has been improved to show only relevant device types.
Communication options have been streamlined to display MQTT as the sole option. Users can now download the Installation Report directly from the System page, which includes all device configurations.
Additionally, the latest EDGE log messages are visible on the System page without needing to download logs. We've ensured proper configuration of inbound communication types, and all devices are now displayed simultaneously in the system view.
Solved Software Bugs
The default setting now uses network data and time, ensuring more consistent performance. Exporting installation records no longer requires entering Notes, and we've fixed the temperature unit change issue for the particle counter.
Additionally, message truncation in the EDGE portal has been resolved, and multiple EDGE devices can now be used on the same local network.
We've also fixed the issue that allowed invalid values for BACnet Instance and corrected the user deletion issues in the EDGE user group.
Improvements
We've added Scaling option for temperature and relative humidity in SRF 613 for better data configuration and prevented entry of invalid values for BACnet Instance and numeric fields.
Specially designed by Setra, the Setra EDGE is a highly configurable and reliable gateway for communicating a variety of sensor and instrumentation inputs devices to Setra's CEMS Software.
